She helped them achieve solo careers. The Beatles were already on the verge of splitting because they wanted to go solo. She didn't cause the split, she sort of pushed it along. I'm not saying it's a bad thing! They would split up anyways, and this way, John Lennon fell in love! Paul had Linda, George had Patti, and Ringo had Maureen. John used to have Cynthia, but their love died. So, it was only fair for John to have love too.

She didn't do any harm - the Beatles were on the verge of splitting up which started after Epstein died.
All of the Beatles had other interests - Paul had Linda, George had his Indian leanings etc, and all were releasing solo albums, so their time was up.
What she did add was a new direction for Lennon - and also was the catalyst/inspiration for many of his songs.

Well, that is a matter of opinion. To be honest, the Beatles were on the fringes of friendship due to non stop touring and recording albums. I am also sure that Paul, Ringo and George were all very attached to his first wife, Julian's mom.
Personally, I think that she did more harm than good. She is still arguing with Paul over the rights to things. If she was all about Peace, Love and Understanding, then she would be less controlling. My whole problem with her is that she never encouraged John to have a relationship with Julian - his first son. She wanted Sean to get everything. Damn succubus!

Actually, Yoko was not the reason why the Beatles broke up. Here are the actual reasons why the Beatles broke up:
1. Brian Epstein's death
After Brian Epstein died, the Beatles lost their trusted manager that could straighten things. As the result, the clash between the members was inevitable because they lost a trusted person that could straighten things.
2. Personal issues of the members
John Lennon got drug addiction and bad marriage problems, Paul McCartney got too egoistical and bossy, George Harrison got fed up with his contribution in songwriting being overlooked by the others especially John and Paul, Ringo Starr got fed up with the band's crumbling condition.
3. Management issue
The Allein Klein case was the prime example of the management issue that occurred during the later part of the Beatles career. Paul McCartney attempted to solve the management issue, yet not working.
4. Lennon-McCartney feud
John Lennon and Paul McCartney used to be very close working partner for songwriting. Then after the later part of the Beatles career, their working chemistry got worse especially after John Lennon met Yoko Ono. John Lennon and Paul McCartney tried to outdo each other in terms of songwriting which made the break up became inevitable. Although thankfully, John and Paul mended up their relationship for once again few years later (at least a year before John died).
As for Yoko, the reason why John was so attracted to Yoko that's because John felt that Yoko was a mother figure to him. John throughout his life was so desperate of mother figure because he never felt enough affection from his mother. John wanted a family life because he never had one.

She did a lot of good for John, and that's all either of them cared about. He adored her. That's why I like her.
