I really like Ares. It works well and have not had any problems with the spyware/virus issues as I did on Limewire. Another one I use on occasion is Frostwire. New version of Limewire but not as messy. I usually have the file scanned though before use if it is larger than usual or smaller than usual.

How can you get viruses? I'm used to use Limewire Free, and I never get spyware or viruses.
I got some tips for you.
Based on my experiences, when I look for a rare song, search result will list items that are not our wants. Usually if you look at filesize, it will be less than 2 MB, around 1,423 mb often. When you download it, and play it, it will run a script and probably it is your spyware or even a viruses.
So BE CAREFUL!!!

limewire has no spyware in it. you get virus from the thing you download from othes. you can use the advanced option in limewire and choose the bitzi lok-up to see if the file is good or not. all the one the person above me reccomended have spyware in their software when you download it.. that is why i use limewire. my spyware programs detect these things when they are being installed and limewire was the only one that nothing was detected in!!!

I use Limewire. Other P2P softwares include Morpheus, Napster, & Ares. I recommend Ares if you don't want Limewire.
