Yes. I have always been able to do that and i've hopefully taught my kids to do the same.

Yes. I work for Therapists and psychiatrists so get to meet different people on a daily basis, all with different mental or emotional baggage. It is a very sad, interesting job! Makes me appreciate what I have in life, and to realize that there are some very sad people out there!

even if I can not relate I can listen. So that I can better understand who they are even if I am not or have not had experience in their way of living. Listening and understanding a person is key,i try to never judge a person just from what I "THINK" they are about.

I go out of my way to find them, each person has a different story, back ground and past, I feed and learn from them
