Personally I would not sit in a cage and masturbate for Japanese tourists, but there are some who would. I'm at the stage now where no human act comes as either a shock or a surprise, been around the block enough times. Whatever you can think of, someone somewhere is into it. I could go into detail, but this is neither the time or place. In answer to your question, I don't think apes give it a second thought, humans do. I used to go out with one. Watching the antics of some of our celebrities and politicians, I believe, lends some real credibility to your idea. Especially with the 24/7 news shows grinding out their daily rations of ratings-driven stercorous programming.
