Somalia, Sudan, DRC are the number one countries suffering from mass killings that result from political and cultural problems. this is so because of the many ethnical groups they have and also because they are fighting over which political group should have power after they got their independence. you can go to www.hsrc.co.za and www.sahrc.co.za, hopefully you will find research done on this issue. i forgot to add iraq, due to extemist in this world
sub-saharan african countries are the country that has a high rate of people infected with HIV/AIDS, subsaharan africa contributes a high rate of people infected with HIV/AIDS. this is so becase this countries are undeveloped and some are developing countries, and other power related problems that are inforced by cultural practices and social behaviors.
the most reliable site is www.unaids.org, you can also try the www.sadc.org
i am not sure about the statistics of the death and rate of infected people, especially because south africa will be having its population survey(not sure about the original name of the survey)
