Hi im want to buy a new pc and was looking in to geting a core 2 duo processor but the have YONAH and MERON on the side. anybody know what it means?? thanks

Yonah's are not Core 2 Duos, they are Core Duos, which are still based on the old NetBurst architecture introduced with the Pentium 4s. The Meroms are the Core 2 Duos, which are based on the new Core architecture, which is much better.

Hey are you sure this is some processor. I could not find it even on the Intel website

merom = core 2 duo or laptop
