I have four tattoos and five peircings (not in my ears). Most people dont know this because I'm a nurse and I have them where I can hide them. I was recently told that men think women with peircings and tattoos are ''loose''. I was somewhat offended seeing as how I have a nursing degree, a good husband, and an appreciation of self expression.

For answer number one: I'm not asking for attention. If I wanted attention I would put the tattoos and peircing where they can be seen. Not where I can hide them with clothes.

Maybe some men do, but not all. I also have 4 tattoo's and a few piercings. I really don't let what others think about such things bother me. You shouldn't either. I wish people were more open minded and not judge someone by their appearance, but that's how it's always been, and probably always will be. All that matters is you, your husband, your friends and family all know that you are a great person, to heck with the others.

There are other ways of self expression. Piercing and mutilation are not the best. When u feel like it, u cannot change it. To be in the forefront of fashion and creative self expression, u have to be flexible to change with the times. But piercings and tattoos are inflexible and irreversible, u have to live with it, a 100 years from now, in a fast changing world.

I never think that about a woman being loose if she has tatoos and piercings I have friends at the University I attend some have several of each. I don't judge them for why they have them it's their body to do with what they want.

There's the clincher: self expression.
Look at me! Look at me! I want attention!
Why would a man find a women who has multilated herself with tatoos attractive? Piercings belong in the ears only with a maximum of two per ear lobe.
If one was to have a wife with tatoos, I suggest they seriously consider what she will look like in old age, with all these wrinkled and incomprehensible images/words tatooed onto her sagging body.

I don't feel that it is "loose" It is your style and know one has a right to judge that,it does not have a bad connotations now a days as it used to,one thing about it you are not alone lot of gals have them today!

i think its fine, my girlfriend has peircings. some prude considers it loose - so what? you know that its you body and you choice. some people just try to define and classify people on the stupidest things.
