I was given an IQ test back in junior high based off the old method. I received an over 130 mark and was titled a genius. More towards a steriotype. I hated being the kid with the genius label. Mom wanted me to get into Political Sci and I went for music and art. More toward my heart and freedom.
Yes though... I am very serious about not being serious, and masking whatever the world may call me. I just want everyone to have a good time.
Now... Will you marry me?

Of course. I 'tone it down' in forums or in chat rooms, for instance.
Where my interaction with other people is more direct, and immediate (or I'm just not in the mood to show off), then, yes.
I put it down to what I consider being polite.
Here, I can be "Mister Clever", and people can choose to skip over my answer.
In a more direct interaction, I think it's outright rude to 'play the fool', unless, of course, the situation demands it.
Call me old fashioned (Voices, off..."You're old fashioned", Yes, well, I could see that coming...), but I hold the belief that the mark of a Truly civilised man is his ability to behave appropriately in any company.
I consider myself a civilised man. (Think of it as a form of self administered absolution for my indiscretions).

Yes, when I don't want others to think I'm a nerd, and when I want to be I'm taking a test which will determine what class I'll be in.

Sometimes during class...if people find out, they sometimes want me to help them cheat on test...I hate that...I always say..NO..
