I tried everything. I bought an electronic mouse trap putting peanut butter, cheese, and meat into it. It won't go in there. I have sticky mouse traps all over the place. I bought packs of poisonous food. It won't eat them. I even rolled the poison into cheese; the mouse ate some but it still runs around.

How do I get rid of it? I'm afraid it could get bacteria or some virus into the home.

Make sure there is nothing but the poison cheese to eat. Hide the garbage, take up animal bowls, clean the dishes and floor. He's finding a food source somewhere.

Mice are greedy so u will need to place a few baits around....get something like Bromakil. Place them in areas that u think the mouse maybe be travelling..behind fridge..couch..near sink. if u have the normal mouse traps...leave them unset for a few nights but keep putting food in it...then set it once u know the mouse is game enough to eat the food in it.
If u have a dog make sure the mouse cant get into its food...dog food has vitamin k in it and that is an antidote for rat poison. rat poison is a anti-coagulaent and thins the blood, the body produces vitamin k to balance this out.
just remember..mice are greedy and will only eat a little bit form each bait...so have a few around

u were on the right track dude, putting some poison in the foods a good idea. not just cheese, give it some options like meat and stuff with poison in it. also, u might wanna check ur house for a nest, u dont want to have lots of baby super rats running over the place.

Hope fully I can help you. Similar thing happened to me. The thing that worked was this. I bought Tomcat baits which I placed in a 2 litre icecream container with the lid on. 2 small holes were cut in opposite corners just big enough for super mouse to go in and out. Sure enough 3 days later and the mouse was gone.
Never to return.

Bait a trap with peanut butter. that should do the trick. Sounds like the mouse might be pregnant. So act quickly.

You may have to contact pest control or some company like that from the yellow pages. It sounds like you've tried everything else. Or you could get a cat - he'll soon track the mouse down for you!

You could try natural foods in the traps, i.e. pumpkin seeds are especially tasty to mice and if all else fails an exterminator is your best shot.

Get a super cat. Or some of that sticky stuff they stick to. Beware of the squealing you will hear.
