I agree. it's too convenient. I would like to be able to trust government. Bush and company laid out the plans at the beginning of all this and that included war on Iran, syria, and north korea. they were honest in the beginning but now it all BS.
more then half the country doesn't want all these wars, yet our government both republicans and democrats are pushing for open war.

Bush did not say the government of Iran was involved only that the weapons and bombs were coming from Iran. Don't you realize that there are Al Quida in Iran? They already have proof of this. Iran will do whatever it thinks will hurt Iraq and whatever will hurt the US. I personally feel that ever since the Iran/Iraq war that Iran has looked for a way to strike back at Iraq. You will notice that these bombs and weapons kill far more Iraqi than they do our soldiers. But right now Iran is talking big if they are following through I don't know. But I really think that you are wrong to assume Bush is lying without having used the correct facts. Perhaps you could make better choices if you did not always assume that the President is wrong.

Pfft. Like their scared of the American army, who look like weaklings in Iraq. Daily Casualties. Military stretched. Iran is bigger, better armed and stronger then what Iraq ever was. The US Army can warn them, but if they attacked, that would be suicide for them. The American army couldn't handle the Iranians right now if they attacked. Not only would Insurgency in Iraq go up, but the Iranian would be attacking them also, and it would simply be to much. Iranians wouldn't be risking death on a massive scale, it would be the other way around. They haven't got rid of the Taliban in Afghanistan, and the insurgency in Iraq, let alone take on Iran also.
Don't let the movie propaganda that always make the American Army look invincible fool you. Second, if you honestly believe bush, then you might as well believe in the boogy monster as well.
I back the American Army, but not bush and his little henchman. Wish he would have been hanged along side Saddam. Not trying to insult the army, they are great, but, they've lost respect and credibility on the International Scene, and all because of the people put in charge of making the decisions.
That's just me, I know that there is more to it, and that people from the other side also have good points, but not convincing enough for me.

It is very simple to understand really- Iran is trying to make the US look bad and hurt the public opinion polls for the war in Iraq.
They want us to go home so they can take over Iraq and make it into an Islamic state, suppress western culture and the rights of women and all who are not Muslim.
THey do not want the USA to know they have been doing this so they have been careful about it. Their strategy is working- Bush and the war are at the lowest approval ratings ever.
And they successfully fooled you and the people who agree with you!

So what is your explanation of the 52 hostages Iran held for over a year?? That may have been before you were born, but Iran was not afraid to take on the US then, & they aren't now either.
Answer this. What possible benefit is there for Bush to lie about this? And the soldiers who have spoken on television...they're lieing also?
Bottom line is they like to help kill Americans....get that thru your head my friend!!
Iran knows the people in this country have no stomach for confrontation & we'll back down rather than risk another major war.

Yes. You right. Iran will never risk to begin war with USA. They know that they are not in need of war, especially with the country like USA. This is just a rumors which have been injected into the world press for the purpose of creation the "bad boy" image of Iran. Because if you want to begin a war then you need the reason. It always was alike. So, they convince the world and then do as they want. You know, you have to use the weapons that lay in warehouses. Why did you make them???

Good point.
Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Tuesday (2/13) there was no evidence the Iranian government was supplying Iraqi insurgents with highly lethal roadside bombs.

I concur with your opinion. Most of the stuff about Iran's involvement in Iraq is from the same super-reliable sources who told us that Iraq was brimming with WMDs. They were wrong then, and we started a war on false pretences, and look where we've ended up: in a whole lot of stink.
Apparently, some people have absolutely no capacity to learn, and think it would be ace to do that all over again.

We already know that Iran wants Iraq's oil and are supplying the insurgents with weaponry. Once we are sure Iran's government is involved, Bye Bye Iran.

A democracy? Right in the heart of the Middle East? It would be the downfall of all whom surround it. You need an example? Canada and Mexico.
