Do you mean - if I try for a VBAC and I end up actually needing another c-section, will they give me a hysterectomy?

No! Not as a routine measure, I have never heard of this, even as an old wives tale, and I am a midwife!

The only time you would have a hysterectomy after a birth (vaginal or c-section) would be in the case of emergency (severe and uncontrolled haemorrage, for example) which is rare, or if it had already been arranged beforehand for a specific medical purpose.

you are able to'y carry a touch one without a uterus. and that i do not see how she receives an ectopic pregnacy like the guy above suggested, if there is not any uterus for the sperm to commute through.
