I have started a 360 page to try and get feedback on my some of my work. Thanks to those people who have so far added me as friends and provided much-needed critical analysis, but I'd be grateful if any other apsiring writers could take a look (particularly at the latest entry) and tell me what they think?

Email me or leave a comment- if there's anything I can do for you let me know!

Thanks!

In agreement with Simon D. The very first few sentences are by far the most important. If you don't hook your intended audience early on you're bound to loose them quickly.
I've often heard people comment on a book such as "It was good, but you have to be patient." or "It's a good book, but it takes a while to get started."
Those aren't really compliments, they are challenges. Don't stop editing until you are happy with it. I've been working on mine for 5 years and I'm still editing, adding and cutting things. It should be ready in the next year or so, but it's all the more proof that authors write not only for their readers but for themselves.
Don't give the whole story away immediately either. There has to be something to keep people reading. I like a nice twist. There's nothing better than being completely thrown off track and having to find your way back to what you think the ending of a story could be.
However, I love the descriptive language you use. That's my favorite part of writing. :)

As a final piece of advice... I don't think it's a good idea to be posting your unpublished thoughts here. You never really know who is reading and some people are unscrupulous. I don't know about you, but I would be devastated if my work was to be stolen from me. If you find that you still want feedback for you writing ask some friends and family members, that's your best and safest bet.

Good luck. You show some real promise. Let us know when you get published. I'd love to buy a copy and read the finished product.

I didn't make it to the story, your lead in tell me all I needed to know.
If it's gonna be psychological, then explaining the story bores people. Just give them the story without explanation. And let them figure it out for themselves. If it's good it will hook them.
A little mystery always helps with the suspense.
