I was born in the UK & educated there. I'm 42 & I don't have a degree but I am willing to learn. I'll be coming to the US soon to live & would like to teach as it is something I've always wanted to do but have not yet had the chance.

Florida is in desperate need of teachers and may make an exception if you do not yet have a degree in education. Do you have a degree in a particular field? If, for example, you have a degree in math, Fla may hire you on a contigency contract. You teach math while attending classes for a degree in education. They will provide a mentor to help you with classroom situations and they will even pay for some of your schooling.

You need to contact the Fla board of education to get more information and to find out if they are able to make this agreement. Fla. is one of the few states that has a program like this.
