I am a junior IB student. I took the SAT Subject Math I before I took the SAT. I want to apply to universites that do not require subject tests.Since this one is not a high score should I try to increase it or don't take the subjects any more?

That is about average. I wouldn't worry about retaking it unless you are trying to get into a really really good university. As a junior you should be able to transfer into a university just based off your past 2 years in college. I don't believe you need to give them your SAT's.

This is not a terrible score. It is about average for all the kids applying to college who took the test.

Unless you are applying for a degree in math or science or engineering, I don't think you need to worry about it. If you are interested in one of those subjects then you definitely need to take more math courses and then try it again.

Even so, I don't think it would prevent you from being acepted at most midlevel or low selectivity schools.
