If you check the websites of the Ivy league schools you will see that your SAT score is in their range, but not exceptional. So you will have to do equally well, or better in your GPA< your extracurriculars (leadership, not membership) and your community activities.

Just getting high grades and SATs is not enough... they want leaders. You seem to have the intelligence, but do you have the ambition, personality and drive? If you are a leader, you have a good shot at getting in.

Good luck

Ivy League schools don't look at writing scores - so, in effect, you have gotten a 1360 on your SAT's. While more than enough to get you into most colleges, Ivy League schools want the VERY best students. If you're determined to get into the Ivy League, I'd buy one of the practice manuals and work on your critical reading score.

honestly, as long as your sat well above average and your marks are good and you have lots of extra-curriculars, you'll get into an ivy league school no problem.

however, my advice would be that it really does depend on what you really want to study and you should research school that are known for the subject you want to study. i mean you wouldn't want to go to harvard to study social work or something
