The best way to keep a home insect free is to leave the spiders alone! If you let the spiders live they will take out the rest of the insects and bugs

You may laugh at this but we had a problem with yellow jacket bees. A friend of mine went to a cave and captured a couple of small bats. We put them in my attic, (it was winter) they stayed there all winter. When spring came, we had no bees, mosquitoes, spiders, or beatles anywhere around the house.
It's like putting a cat in a house with mice..

Teach them good manners & ask them to stay outdoors.Jokes aside keep your house clean, put meshes on windows so that very small insects(food for spiders) do not enter.

Keep removing the webs and they cannot catch any food and they starve to death. I was told this is about the only way to get rid of them, by a professional exterminator.

I love spiders because they kill dirty flies and Mosquitos. Look at it that way. They are kinda like our protectors.
