I had a very light period this month. I did skip last months period by starting a new pack of birth control pills. I've been totally stressed and have increased my caffiene intake. I notice that every time I drink my 32oz fountain diet coke that my breasts start hurting. Is this possible? Can caffiene be the cause? Then after my light period I had a clear brown discharge with no odor. What is up with my body? Serious Answers only PLEASE.

Yes, it's possible that the caffeine from the diet coke could be contributing to your breast pain. When I had some issues with my breast about 10 years ago the physician's assistant I went to at the primary care physician I had at the time asked if I drink a lot of caffeine.

As for the brown discharge when we have our periods, we can have old blood in the earliest days of our period as well as at the end. New blood from the period is red.

I have the same problem, I don't drink caffiene but avoid it for now.
My doc told me I had cyst in my breast and that it was caused by the birth control. However I am going to get a 2nd opinion.
