Just saw a picture of this moon for the first time, and I was blown away by its colors! Can anyone else suggest some equally as impressive items in our Milky Way Galaxy (besides Earth :P)?

Everything in nature is beautiful; from the oceans and the wildlife on Earth, to the planets and objects in our solar system, to other nebulae and stars.

However, there are some that we personally like more than others. Check the following:

No absolutely not. Go to the Hubble.org site and you can find thousand and thousands of stars galaxies, exploding stars, beyond your imagination. There is one site that I remember that impressed me exceptionally. I believe it was Ursus major it is star birthing area with 10,000 stars in the picture in all colours. You can magnify this image a thousand times and it is still clear. You can download the image as background on your desktop by right clicking the image and click copy then go to your desk top and right click again and then click load background. You can do this with any of the thousand of pictures Humble has available.

well you asked an opinion question so there is no wrong or right answer. personally i think IO is kind of ugly, makes me think or rotting cheese. but the eagle nebula, saturn, etc etc are all lovely things as well.

Io is neat though because it is the most volcanic planetoid in our solar system due to tidal interactions with Jupiter.

There must be trillions of equally spectacular things in our galaxy, because our galaxy is HUGE -- 100,000 light years in diameter, containing hundreds of millions of stars.

And then there are hundreds of millions of other galaxies. The size of the Universe is humbling indeed!
