Spending time with the family on Xmas Day

2007-02-15 21:26:43 · answer #1 · answered by ஐ♥PinkBoo - TTC #1♥ஐ 5 · 1 0

Christmas for sure. Reason? This day signifies the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the Saviour. Besides, Christmas too signifies that salvation has come. By the way, indirectly, you are discriminating the Christians when you write Xmas instead of Christmas because this shows that you are taking Christ away from such an important day. When there is no Christ, there's no Christmas.

Christmas by a long way! The best roast dinner all year. Everyone is cheerful and all the family are there. We play loads of family games too.
New Years is ok, but it always seems like such a disappointment to me. It is always hyped up so much. My friends and I never seem to get ourselves organised enough and there is always someone that gets a little too drunk.

Christmas. Bu the time I get past Christmas Eve celebrations, Christmas day, Christmas night, boxing day, and a couple more after Christmas events before New Years eve, I am pretty knackered!
As others said, family, mates, cozy, and Christ's birthday.

Christmas is very cosy and the family is united (at least we try). The dinner is delicious always. New Year's Eve is nice but I feel that the end of the holidays is close,so I don't really enjoy it.

Christmas for sure. I get to see all my family, some of whom I haven't seen for a whole year. I also get to sit and watch the children - nieces etc - open presents in bundles of excitement and then we all sit down to eat a wonderful meal together!!!
