i meant that how it produce sound when water vapours hit each other in the form of clouds?

Lightning is created by electrical charge difference between the negative ions (base of clouds) and positive ions on eg. tree tops or other clouds. Lighning bolts travel from negative to positive areas and displaces air downwards and sidewards as it is created. This compresses the air surrounding the lightning bolt and causes a shock wave that travels through the air in the form of a sound wave (thunder). Thunder can not be created without lightning

the charged ions in the clouds collide and create the sound and not the water vapour of the cloud.

clouds dont produse thunder..........
thunder is due to the positive and negative charges that repel each other...
