There is no difference with the outcome of hair... it's only the method of cutting that differs; i.e. removal cream destroys the part of hair out of the skin and you can remove it with the plastic blade which prevents cutting yourself and that's all. No other impact.

With wax you remove hair from the roots, and it normally takes more time for it to grow. I don't think there is any difference between hair removing cream (for instance Nair) or shaving cream in the outcome of hair growth, the difference is that with the first one you don't need to use a razor, and the other is used to make shaving easier and smoother.

Cream (depilatory) hair removal creams dissolve the hair just below the surface of the skin. It is only slightly better than shaving.
Shaving hair does NOT make it grow back thicker. It also doesn't affect the colour or rate of growth. The colour, location, thickness and length of hair on your body mainly depend on genetics & hormones.
After you shave body hair, it may feel coarse or "stubbly" for a time as it grows out. During this phase, it may be more noticeable and may appear darker or thicker. But it's not.
Skin Doctors sell a good quality depilatory hair remover.
To make the hair growth softer and finer you could use Kalo hair minimiser spray or cream.
There are also home laser hair removal kits available from Rio.

I think that hair removal removes the hair from the roots and shaving gel only removes the hair on the surfaces.

Hair removal cream may work better but it can also give you a major rash. Razors can only get the hair that's above the skin whereas hair removal cream goes underneath the skin. If you decide to use hair removal cream, make sure to test it on a hidden spot on your leg just to make sure you don't have a bad reaction to it!

The cream is definetly better. I use it, because it doesn't hurt so damn much!! When you shave you can sometimes cut yourself really badly. I had a friend who shaved, and cut herself and then had 2 go 2 the doctor cuz it got infected. So i think u should use cream. I use the "veet" stuff, and it takes ALL of my hair away. u should try it. It costs about 7 to 10$ @ walmart. It varies. :D

Shaving will make your hair grow back with a blunt end, so it will feel more prickly. Cream takes the hair out at the roots, so it comes back 'pointed' and hence less prickly. Also, with cream the hair may seem to grow back more slowly.

YES!!!
shaving lasts longer and hair removal cream doesn't always get all the hairs out. even if its faster shaving is way better you can laterally FEEL the difference. plus i used Veet and i got a HUGE rash.

yes, with shaving gel you ahve to use a razor, and the hair regrowth has blunt ends and feels rougher, with hair removal cream it takes longer to regrow as the cream often dissolves the hair below the skin surface, and the regrowth is less harsh as the ends are tapered

with shaving and depilitory cream the hair is not removed at the root, just from the superficial layer of skin, so it ultimately grows back thicker.
If you want hair to grow back thinner and less frequently you need to remove from the root, i.e. waxing, laser, epilation.
