cats - independent, know what they want, sophistocated, graceful, beautiful, know when to stop eating, associated with women
dogs - slobbering, graceless, desperate for attention, will eat anything put in front of them, dependent, will shag other males if desperate enough, associated with men

goes back to the day of Egypt and before the Pyramids...eons man of this area worshiped the cat and thought they were GODS
it was a capital punishment to kill a cat.
cats have always an allure for women but a few men like cats too. they are inconsistent and finicky...they will chit in the children's sandbox, your flower pots, and under anywhere they want to unless they are properly trained and same with the urine..but for the most part if the cat is well trained they will be housebroken and clean above reproach..always cleaning themselves..licking..and they can't be taught tricks like a dog..most women admire that quality and duplicate this in real life. They do have nine lives and will outlive most men just like the care giving women with their mates..

Maybe because womens bodies are more lithe and supple than mens which are more stiff because of bigger muscles, thicker tendons etc. This makes women seem more feline although not like the scruffy one eyed spitting maniacs I've seen in my time, and the cats weren't much better!

Its funny that you bring that up, but it's true|
My cat and my girlfriend seem to have things in common (one being a cat and the other being a woman, of course), that are rather uncanny and interesting|
I really funny thing happened| I sent my girlfriend a love letter, and just at that moment, my cat gave me a love bite on the nose that she hasn't for a long time|

because of their graceful moves and figures... because of the mystery in their eyes... their purring and want for affection... maybe also their moods and the way they spit at you and scratch at you males...
