Sponge Bob is basicly indestructable as proven in the episode where the bully Flatts, took a disliking to SB. When he finally cornered SB and tried to beat him up, his body blows were easily absorbed by SB's inherent sponginess and actually tickled. The bully tired himself out and ended up passing out and Sponge Bob was the victor.
I believe the same thing would happen with Patrick as the agressor, but I also highly doubt that would ever happen given how good of friends they are.

They have fought in at least 2 episodes. One was when Patrick went to boating school with SB, and they got into it. Neither landed a blow on the other. They got embarrassed and quit. Then they fought again in the epsiode "Fry Cook Games", they realized that they did, in fact, care about each other and walked away from the fight. So neither would win, they are too good of friends and friendship would win every time.

Simple! Spongebob would win because Patrick may be more intelligent but luck favours our little porifera more than the crustacean and on any day luck counts the most.
