Because I'm a HUGE period-film fan, I loved Marie Antoinette, effort has really been exerted into researching the costumes, the scenery, even the food!

But I also liked it because it portrayed the woman Marie Antoinette in a way she has never been portrayed before: just a regular human being with her own foibles and follies, and who get confused, too.

I can't say the same about how my friend liked it. He slept through most of the movie!
