i think iran has evry rights to make a nuclear weapon if they want i mean alot of countrys already have them for example the u.s so why cant iran have them is it fair?

Since the US opened the flood gate on nuclear weapons, I believe any country should have access to them to maintain their sovereignty. It is one thing to possess them and another to release them. There is only one country who should be in fear, the US the only country to use the weapon. I guess they thought it would remain an exclusive club. They should have thought of that almost 60 years ago.

Iran has as much right as Israel to have them. No country, with the exception of the USA have ever used atomic weapons. Last month all the hype was about North Korea, now, that that situation has been settled, it's time for the US government to get Americans all worked up over Iran. As a terrorist state the US leads with Israel close behind.

As far as I am concerned no country in this world should be allowed to have nuclear weapons.We saw what those weapons can do and yet many countries still have them...
Iran doesn't have the right to make those kind of weapons because they have signed the nuclear non proliferation treaty and by signing that they have every right to a nuclear program as long as it is used in civilian purposes only and building nuclear weapons is forbidden...

If your question is 'Are they equal to have the same rights as every other nation?' then I completely agree, but we should be figuring out ways to prevent ALL countries from having nukes and more than that, figuring out ways to dismantle the already existing ones (especially USA's) before we consider who has the right to have them. No country or person is responsible enough in this world to own nuclear weapons.

THey have a right to nukes. THe US has the right for a pre-emptive strike. Call me selfish, but I don't want to die, nor do I want another coutry having a better chance of killing me. Even if we started this US-Iran fight, I'm willing to sacrifice what is right and wrong for my personal safety. Let's put it this way. You punch someone. He gets piss off at you and so he goes and reach for his gun. Would you shoot him before he pulls it out.
Frankly, I'm not ttoally sure what we did to make the Iranians mad, but they shouldn't have messes with our diplomats over 20 years ago. We might have been messing around with their country, but they violated international law. WHat they did was a major leap in hostilities. Iraq may not have deserve what we did to them, but Iran is different. After the Hostage thing, we got a free pass to do what ever we want to Iran.
