Ditch Internet Explorer & install Firefox as your browser. Firefox lets you download videos from youtube etc.

Right click on the video, choose save as or save, then when a folder pops up save it on your desktop or my documents or wherever you like. Then you have to know whether the video extension can be supported by media player. This is videoname.wav, etc. Media player can play wav files and you have to check which ones it can't by going to the site or sumthin'
