If you want to see some real tolerance in action, go to Riyadh or Tehran and start handing out pocket New Testaments on a street corner. Or go to Columbia U or Berkeley or San Francisco and try to give a program on Pro life. Or say one critical thing about gays or blacks or muslims in a public forum. You will be amazed. If you live.

Liberty to do what? Allow me to assure you, liberty to do or say certain things is usually only valued by those who want to do or say those same things.
The liberty to bear arms is constantly under attack! No Tolerance.
The liberty of an unborn child to be born has been outlawed if the mother so chooses.
The liberty to speak openly against homosexual practices is all but outlawed.
The liberty for the U.S. Military to recruit on college campuses, like other employers, is under attack in a lot of venues.
The liberty to provide safe living environments for many citizens from illegal aliens has been shut down for the most part.

A lot.
Unfortunately the far right actually believe that teaching our children tolerance is somehow hindering moral values. I've actually heard this exact comment more than ones.

Good question. Hate is tolerated when in action it is only speech and considered to be free speech.
