First, open your Norton Antivirus. Then, on the upper left corner of the window, click "Options." After that, click "Norton Protection Center," under the "Alert options," uncheck "Show Antivirus alerts."
PS : I'm using Norton Antivirus 2006. If other versions, I can't help.

The reason for this popup is that you MUST renew the subscriptions or you will not be protected from new viruses.
If you don't want to pay anymore, then remove Norton and replace it with a free anti-virus such as AVG, available here http://www.compcentral.net/downloads.php?UID=9
Or if you want to keen Norton, then RENEW the subscriptions otherwise you are at high risk!

Hi, to stop this pop up, u have to remove/unistall all Norton antivirus files from your system through add/remove programs option on the control panel. If u have already removed it and still getting that pop up, go to http;//service1.symantec.com/support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/200510310940139 (pls note that there is no WWW in the link). there are 16 downloadable files that can remove norton products from your system. Read carefully, choose the file that can remove your norton version, download it, save it on your desktop, and run it, u may have to restart the computer afterwards. Good luck.

dodge Norton like the plague. that's a huge application that devours factors and reasons each type of issues which incorporate your device. As slightly application, it has a unfavorable detection fee and one version certainly created a backdoor for viruses to get in! AVG is a freebie and is okay so some distance because it is going. that's hardship loose yet has a detection fee scarecly greater effective than Norton. you would be greater effective off figuring out to purchase Kaspersky, Bit Defender or Nod32.
