A baby is born. He grows up into a teenager. Once, he reaches the age of puberty which is in the adolescent stages. He could become sexually active as hormones are raging at this stage.
The age of puberty in males occurs usually in 9.5 - 14 years of age. That 's usually the age when boys can produce sperm. Whereas, in females,; it's usually around 8-13 age. That's about the time when that teenage daughter gets her menarche or first menstruation.
