Talk to that person and tell them that you appreciate the fact that they care so much but there are some things that you have to do on your own and you need time to figure out how you want things to bee, not that you want to break up with her, but that you want control of your own life.

I have had a 17 year experience where my life was controlled down to the toilet paper I was allowed to use...( If I Had it)
If it's that bad...GET OUT as fast as you can!
Eaither give her a chance, and tell her how you feel, Or pack your stuff and find someone who loves you for who you are and wont treat you like you need to be controlled like a child.
