Well, some of them are really antagonistic to China because the Japanese media shows images of Chinese burning the Japanese flag and stuff. They also don't like the fact that they are losing jobs to outsourcing to China. China is on the rise, so they fear that someday they will catch up and get better. But others really don't care. The rest of the nation is pro-China, in fact. After all, Japan owes a lot to China for its current standing. Without the kanji they borrowed, Japanese wouldn't be able to read or write.

... i find these responses immensely OFFENSIVE. i am 100% JAPANESE, and i have not once found chinese people inferior nor do i dislike them. i dont throw babies up in the air and do w.e. you know what?! forget the past wars. they're all equal in the end. every country did something to another. china did things to other chinese, do they hate themselves? no. do they hate the japanese? not all of them. at least know more parts of history before you comment on races and nationalities, thanks.
