because it is annonymous enough not to be embarrassed about not knowing the answer... and they don't want to/don't have time to go and ask a GP.
I have found that when I start to get annoyed about the number of repeated questions on here, I realise it is time for me to go and do something else as I am spending way too much of my life on YA... but then I always come back again. I'm addicted :S

they are honestly no longer relaxing, as they are painful! Your era can come at any time, so be prepared! For an emergency equipment you'll want: pads, female wipes, spare knickers, soreness killers! Any variety of pads or tampons is effective all of them do the interest, I oftentimes purchase food market personal manufacturers. you are able to google to get some web pages to get samples. don't be embarrassed to study including your mum about this, basically ask her! solid success! x

Because it can be scary when you body does something different and we looking for reassurance and a little motherly/sisterly advice. With the added bonus of being anonimous. I guess it also the same reason lots of people ask health questions so we can understand ourselves better.
I have to ask though why are you asking?

Because they want advice and maybe they are imbarrised to go and see their gp if their gp is a man. or maybe they want another womans opinion. if you hadnt noticed before this is called yahoo answers where people want answers.obviously you clicked on the question or you saw it on the page to notice. why would it bother you anyway. women want answers if they think something is bothering them. heres a question for you why do men always moan about what woman ask when they do the same on here banging on about cars,sex,girls ect

Period, bcp, menopause (osteoporosis).
