Does anyone else besides me, feel the pressure to learn more than they are possibly able to these days?

Does it feel like your mind will explode trying to learn all you need to survive in this world?

Are we trying to learn too much these days for people to be able to digest?

I agree. The Internet and electronic media has caused such an increase in the information to enter our lives. I hate how many people use computers. Life was much better when only wealthy nerds had a computer.

Yes, it is because more and more employers are requiring at least an undergraduate degree. I think technology is ever changing, so Universities have had to up their game when it comes to their courses to better prepare students for the workforce.

Also, I think that there are so many people going to college anymore that employers have the luxury of being picky. Meaning that someone with just a degree may have a lot less of a chance than someone with the degree coupled with a lot of experience in the field.

My grandmother once told me when I decided that I didn't have anything left to learn to go ahead and lay down where somebody could kick the leaves over me; that I was dead and useless to anyone from that point on. She has been dead for over 30 years now and never knew what a computer was but if she had lived you can bet your @ss she would be answering your question instead of me. I don't care who you may be no one can learn too much.
