... a stupid game and somehow absolutely childish... find another girl, because this lady is just playing around and never will make up her mind!!!

Who is asking? A boy or a Girl? Doesnt look like a game it just appears to be lack of confidence.

well didn't it happen because of circumstances or did she reject your offer? have u asked her why? than just conclude it is a game.
