id like to make your heart stop by stabbing you in the chest with a pitch fork

If that did happen then the very first time the clocks were wound back an hour, everone would have died from heart failure. No nothing like that happens. Though there is a body mind time relartionship change that affects most people either at the start or end of day light saving. Body is used to the sin's light striking the earth within in a time frame, then when the time is altered by an hour, body brain find it difficult to adjust, especially at sunset when the sky is still light and the mind things it's later than it is. When you were born onto the earth, you were placed into a block of time and grew from that moment on, body got used to that and now with clockes set back an hour, mind or sub concious is out of alignment with earth and body suffers a bit. I have recoded three weeks of being out of phses with the timne shift before re alining with the chage. Hope I've helped you Dave

If your heart were to cease functioning for one whole hour you'd find you would not be asking that question!
To stop a heart for more than an hour it would have to be medically assisted by a Blood Dialisys Machine, if not you would become Braindead if their is no blood to the brain.
Your friend is winding you up and you fell for it...how old are you anyway?

Yes that's right,
It has to because when the clocks go forward by an hour it doubles its beat for 60 minutes.
So in order to restore it does the reverse and stops for an hour when the clocks go back...

Have always told my children, dont believe everything people tell you.
Will put you in the Guiness book of Records if you can stop your heart for an hour. Come on doesnt take rocket science to work that one out.
