please tell me the different generational names used in america and their meanings as well as decades of the children that are called them. for example, "DINKS" means double income no children, but i want to know when these folks were born, and what years were they movers of how our economy goes? then, why?
another example of a term that i have heard is "gen x," but i have no idea who coined that term, what decades members of it were born in and what decades their behavioral traits became a norm in our country and economy. so, for example, if 'gen xers' happen to now be the majority of some age group in our society, what is that age group?
what behavioral characteristics would you describe these different generational demographic groups as having, and what impact have they made, or are expected to make, in upcoming decades?
