In India untrained teachers can earn well in private coaching. I am an untrained teacher but often got higher fees than what trained teachers got.

Its sad but the fact is true. People want qualified teachers who have some degree or certificate to show that they can impart education to their children well.
So until you get some qualification or basic minimum required qualification to teach i guess the options before you would be small.
If you would like to earn some decent salary then maybe you should start some coaching classes in the subject in which you teach.

As a "trained" teacher, I can tell you that this training is the reason we are called professionals. You may have natural teaching abilities, but there are other things a proficient teacher should possess:
1. a bachelor's degree - This gives you the well-rounded knowledge and experience in critical thinking and study applications that you need. Students expect their teachers to know more than they do.
2. Certification in education and professionalism -
* Certification to teach a particular subject demonstrates to anyone who asks that you have the qualifications and background to teach and answer questions about that subject
* Certification in professional education makes sure that YOU know about teaching theories, the learning abilities of your students, and how to deal in a professional manner with students, their parents, co-workers, and administrators.
I can't stress how important it is to know how to be a professional in the teaching field. Not knowing this puts you at a disadvantage, subjects you to legal problems, and creates friction in the workplace.
If teaching is important to you, get your teaching certificate. There are alternate certification programs for those who already have bachelor's degrees.

Try private schools. Some private schools lack the funds to pay for experienced and/or credentialed teachers and are desperate enough to take untrained teachers.

Well considering that No Child Left Behind says that all teachers must be "highly qualified"--meaning certified in the areas they teach--there is no real hope for uncertified teachers in public education.
In private schools, however, you don't necessarily have to be credentialed in order to teach. There is a place to look.

But ur age must be below 40 yrs.according to ur performance u r selected as a teacher and ur certificates r also checked .. you can search for different boards on the net ... but Haryana board for sure has such procedure .. and with time they pay you as well and well...
