What is the rate of service tax in Madhya Pradesh on food served from a restaurant?

There is no service tax on food served from a restaurant.However, if Outdoor Catering is being provided ; it will be subject to service tax under the notified taxable category of Outdoor Catering Service.Though the rate of service tax is 12.24%; there is exemption from value of taxable service under Notification No 1/2006 Service Tax on the link below where subject to conditions service tax is payable only on 50% of billing amount

Central excise service tax is uniform every where in India and this is 12.24% of total bill.
