i've just watch the first movie again just now...then i realised something when i was watching the "mirror of erised"s part...i'm just assuming though..i'm really sure...'cause i don't want Harry to die...
anyway, in that scene...Harry saw himself with his parents and Ron saw himself (older) as a Head Boy, holding the house cup etc.etc.
what i'm trying to say here...maybe, the mirror showed that Harry die and then "reunited" with his dead family...what Ron saw was kinda happening isn't it? he's a prefect...maybe he'll become the head boy in book 7?
what do you think? Do you think Harry will live or die and why?
i don't want Harry to die though...but usually, in good stories like this, the hero will die...besides, if he lives...i'm sure there'll be more than 7 Harry Potter Books...don't you think?

yeah even i don't want him to die..Last 10 years are something we all grew up with this character. and now if this ending it looks as if someone very close to me is dying and i am feelng sad for it.
I don't want harry to die....I am exactly the same age as harry is ...i tried to do things like him imagine a lot..but looks very sad too that he is gonna die.....very hard to accept the truth for me..

The Mirror of Erised only shoes us our deepest desire, not the future. While Harry may die and be reunited with his parents, the mirror just showed him what he wanted, not the future. I don't think Harry will die because I just don't want it to happen. If what happened in the mirror does come true it doesn't show any sign of Harry being dead, Harrry's family could come back.
P.S. There will only be 7 Harry Potter Books. J.k. Rowling has been set on this since she started, so I don't think she'll chance her mind. She did say that she might right other books about the magic world for charity, though. So, there is always hope.

Well you have to wonder, the prophcy in the 5 book said that neither can survive while the other is alive, refering to Harry and Voldemort. So, if you think Harry dies the Voldemort lives and the whole world gets destroyed. Now that is a pretty morbid ending to what started as a children's book. But, if Voldemort dies and Harry lives then the book has a happy ending, somewhat. I know that she was going to kill off atleast one main character, maybe two. Either way the book is going to have a sad ending, because some one we know and love is going to die. But even if the ending is happy it is still the last book, so every thing will be bittersweet. I hope this has helped.
P.S. The seventh book come out in June and th fifth movie a week later. Or the other way around.

Harry goes bakc to hogwarts and there is a battle there between the Death eaters and the teachers and students at hogwarts. He destroys one of the last horcuruxes and then goes to meet voldemort. He knows he is at the Shrieking Shack. Harry goes there and finds voldemort killing snape and then eaving. He goes up to snape who is dying on the floor and snape gives him a memory. The voice of voldmort sounds all over hogsmeade and hogwarts and he is saying that there will be an hour of peace and he is expecting harry to meet him in the forbidden forest within that hour or everyone dies. Harry goes back to the castle, sees the memory and realizes that snape was a good guy and that he sacrificed himslef for harry and dumbledore. And then the dumbeldore in the memory tells snape that harry has to die because a piece of voldemort soul is in him and harry goes to the forbidden forest and receives the killing curse from Voldemort But then he goes up to what it seems to limbo and talks to dumbeldore and he tells him that he is not dead and harry decides to come back and kills voldemort.

Jo said that we can trust anything Dumbledore and Hermione say as correct. Dumbledore said that it doesn't show the future. I don't think Harry will die.

harry may die.but it's really up to ms rowling.i hope he does not.hermione be head girl.maybe harry too.who knows who mcgonagall will chose.ginny will go for anor guy.harry n hermione get tog. ron goes for luna.also,snape malfoy sr n voldie die.hermione kills bella.

i dun know.harry may die.but he may linger like nearly headless nick..also,ron is not quidditch captain.unless harry dies..ron is not head boy.maybe he will be.hermione is head girl truly.i think hermione won't die.maybe ron n harry.voldie too.
