I would be shocked but I would still support them because them being gay has nothing to do with the way they play the sport. Them coming out of the closet would not change the fact that I am a fan and have been.

I personally am not a merchandise purchaser or hero-worshipper so I'd not have a problem with jerseys, etc. But as long as they were decent to their family, friends, played in a sportsmanlike way and were a team player versus self-centered, etc., what business is it of mine how they were born? (You do know that gay people are 99% of the time born that way, don't you?)

They are your favorite athlete u watch them for their athletic abilities not their life style and what they choose to do. By the way I think Tim Hardaway went way overboard with hisbashing against gay people but still the NBA shouldn't have banned him from work areas in the NBA because after all they questioned him for his opinion and thats his opinion. This world we live in changes constantly and if ucant adapt to change u will fall like enron. so dont bash people for their life style or judge because like Tim Hardaway it will only make it more difficult. hope this helps

If my favorite all-star came out. WHO CARES!!!! Is he still putting up 30 pts a game? Playing defense? Getting closer to the championship? That's what I care about.
Why should anyone care? I got a friend who likes fat girls. Should I ostracize him for that? Hey, whatever. Wake up and smell the freedom.

Yeah because I'm not an ignorant homophobe. If Simon Gagne said he was gay, it wouldn't bother me none. It shouldn't bother you neither because it's their own personal life. I doubt that if Donovan McNabb was gay, he'd grab other player's butts.

I would still support my team as no team should be in the shadow of one player.
It would bother me very little as they are still professionals and as long as they do their job for my team, i'm happy
