My style is skater. How should I get my hair styled without cutting too much and add red tips??

I want to get my hair cut and styled without cutting it short and also make it a style that would look good w/ red tips. HELP!!!

So are you a skater - or just a poser copping an image?

I have been skating for 17 years - I guess that makes me a skater...are you trying to look like me?

FYI: I know skaters that wear wranglers, boots, cowboy hats and listen to Allen Jackson - is it them that you are trying to look like?

I immediately thought of Olivia Wilde's hair when she was on "The O.C" - she wore a "punk ponytail" that I think would look great with red tips:

Here's another great idea - I always loved Terri Nunn's hair - she's the lead singer of Berlin, and her famous style predates Gwen Stefani's by a good decade:

If you don't want to make it as short as hers, just make sure your stylist cuts it to shoulder-length or slightly longer.

i say skater chicks look better with natural hair, mostly long and straight, no colors. but if you want a little bit of color, go with blended pink, orange or blond streaks. depending on your natural hair color

i typed in long length hair and i love the top right and bottom right styles. i think you could get red tips and make it look really cute.
