I am looking for a silly rock song that I remembered being played a lot for my then 2 year old nephew. It's a 50s sounding rock song, only with high-pitched voices - which makes it quite good for young kids. The chorus line is 'big boys don't cry' and gets repeated so often that I can't remember any other lines..

Googling or Youtubing for it I can't get the right song.. Have you got any clues please?

lol. Sorry for being misogynistic without realising.. It might indeed be big girls, not boys.. It's been a few years since I last heard it..

I know of one called Big Girls Don't Cry by The Four Seasons
Maybe thats what you mean? Or possibly someone else did a Big Boys version.

Lyrics for: Big Girls Don't Cry

Big girls don't cry (they don't cry)
Big girls don't cry (who said they don't cry)
My girl said good-bye (my oh my)
My girl didn't cry (I wonder why)

(Silly boy) Told my girl we had to break up
(Silly boy) Thought that she would call my bluff
(Silly boy) But she said to my surprise
Big girls don't cry

Big girls don't cry (they don't cry)
Big girls don't cry (who said they don't cry)

Baby I was cruel (I was cruel)
Baby I'm a fool (I'm such a fool)

(Silly girl) Shame on you your Mama said
(Silly girl) Shame on you, you cried in bed
(Silly girl) Shame on you, you told a lie
Big girls do cry

Big girls don't cry (they don't cry)
Big girls don't cry (that's just an alibi)

Big girls don't cry (repeat and fade)

there was a track release in the 90's by lolly called big boys dont cry. was not a rock song though. heres the lyrics.

I see you falling
It's my name your calling
I rush to be by your side
You know i'm always here
So theres nothing to fear
Now wipe away all your tears
A shoulder to cry on
Someone to rely on
I'll do anything for you
You are my best friend
On me you can depend
Our friendship will never end
Remember...

(Chorus)
Big boys don't cry
Big boys don't cry
Big boys don't cry
Big boys don't cry

Always forever
Well be together
Destiny leads the way
If we both follow
There'll be no sorrow
So let nature take it's way
Remember....

(Repeat Chorus to fade
