About Samurai X:Reflection(The Directors Cut) ?

Can somebody tell me what it's all about?..I mean,i'm a big fan of Rurouni Kenshin and I really like to know.

reflections is a story set quite a few years after the 95th episode of the series. kaoru and kenshin are married and have a son named kenji that is studying swordsmanship under seijuro hiko (kenshin's master of course). kenshin is away somewhere (i forget if they mention where). kaoru falls ill and kelshin also falls ill sympathetically, sano happens upon him in his travels and helps kenshin get home, throughout the movie there are flashbacks to kenshin's life. these are from the MANGA series, not the anime, as are shown with the fight against enishi and i believe several other scenes. now for the ending.... i'm gonna put a spoilier here so i don't ruin it























at the end of the movie kenshin dies in kaoru's arms on that street outside the dojo where he leaves for kyoto. his scar fades and right before he dies a very peaceful death he tells kaoru his real name, shinta. this is a large point of contraversy amont many fans, namely what he dies from, some say it's tuberculosis but it does not show symptoms (kaoru also contracts the disease, presumably through sexual contact when conceiving kenji). due to the scars both kenshin and kaoru show some of us believe (myself included) that it is leprosy due to some of the symptoms... not a big thing but some fun trivia.

i'm not sure what's different with the directors cut, i only have the regular edition (along w/ the other 2 ovas, the movie and all 95 episodes in a series box set on dvd ^_^x). it's an EXCELENT movie and i HIGHLY recommend your purchasing it and watching it. i've seen it (and the entire series, and ovas and movie)) 3 times now and love it every time.

Talking about reflection they just flash back the events happened in the series and add some details. Kenshin is married to Touko before he met Kaori. Touko was killed by Kenshin--- they did not showed how did he killed his own wife. In the story there is an epidemic disease affected Kenshin and Kaoru and they both died. Bad ending... the good side of the story is their child (Kenshin and Kauru) inherited the reverse edge sword and had a girlfriend...
