So anyways I need help in convincing my reading teacher that ONline RPG is BAD

Vicboy, I don't even know prescisely what an RPG is, BUT even those who said they are not bad, then gave you "except..." The answers you need are right there, the addiction, the over-separation from reality, both in neglecting one's own reality and solving personal issues in a game, etc. Even if you don't believe in the position you need to argue, stuff it for a day or two. Start out by saying that although your first reaction was to disagree with the premise, it was very interesting to give the other side its fair shake.

I don't think you are correct... Online RPG's are not a bad thing... it is people unswerving addiction to them that are bad. EverQuest was one of the most fun games that I have ever played, however I had some friends that got sucked into the game and literally would stay in there house for weeks on end just playing the game. Also if you are going to say that those are bad then you should say that all games are bad because people get addicted to all of them and throw away their lives for the game that has become an addiction..
However if you need to convince you teacher that they are bad, then I recommend that you tell him/her that "Because of people natural affinity for addiction online rpg's are a bad thing, because the game itself is all about being better than anyone else playing the game, so people with their addictive personalities will let that need to be better take over there life and consume what they used to be. Because of this need to play the game constantly, as to be better than everyone else, it leads to a socially defunct person who no longer knows how to adapt to there social sorroundings."

A: What business is it of yours
B: If you do not actually have a reason for it being bad then why do you claim it is?
C: Most research indicates that video games in general help with problem solving skills and can generally increase your observation skills.
D: Most anti video game info is propaganda put out by people who have never tried them and think EVERYTHING is bad.
E: Video games addiction is not real. It is a counseling conspiracy. "Addicts" want to have an excuse for not living up to their responsibilities and councilors are happy to give it to them for a fee. Before you go off. I KNOW what an addiction is.

Sorry, I only think of good things about online RPGs. Most of my friends and I are rather addicted to them and stay in touch thru them.

Any single element of entertainment or vice which interfeers with the healthy and natural progression of your life on a day to day basis, is a problem, and if it cannot be stopped, then it is an addiction.

Its only bad if you get addicted, which I will admit that I am.
It is bad if you skip necessary daily chores/responsibilites to play.
