Check this site or search for more. For internet radio or podcasting you need only a good computer with a sound card (most computers now have one) and imagination.
You don't need FCC permission for internet, but if you're planning to play music you'll still need to contact:

and for European music:

(212) 586-3450

Internet radio is not regulated by the fcc. all thats needed is the equipment and you put it in a podcast format and you sign up subscribers that can receive the broadcasting in a streaming format. I would like an e-mail from you when you get started I'm a political science major so I would like to maybe do a show with you so GOOD LUCK and remember visualize and realize!!! picture it done!!!! E_MAIL me and I will help you with finding out the equipment you will need I know some people.

Up at the top, YES... it's quite easy actually. There shouldn't be too many problems. But, of course... just get everything legit.

Um, this sounds pretty interesting. If you need an extra personality, email me or something. I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm actually starting a broadcasting school pretty soon.. So... depending on what sort of content you'll have, I might be interested.
