I have very good marksmanship and I'm not scared of the Tyrant of Caracas.

I would like to volunteer to be your second. I worked in Venezuela before Castro's Kid came to power and it was a beautiful country with wonderful people. Now this piece of **** has virtually ruined it. One of the world's ricest oil countries and the population stands in lines for up to eight hours to buy one chicken. (Fact not fiction) And yes, You will get three of four answers on here from the oil idiots. (Those that feel oil is the root of all evil) Can you imagine living in a country where El Presidente says that he is going to nationalize the grocery stores to be sure that they are not making too much money. How the hell can they be making too much money when Hog-o Castro is having the military confiscate all foodstuffs and holding it in government warehouses for his elite. Again I would like to volunteer to be your second.

zzycatch is right on the money. Chavez is looking to follow Iran and sell his oil in Euros and not dollars which will harm the US economy. This is what Saddam did after Euros were floated on the world market in 2000 and look what the US did to him.

The US have set a new standard in economics. If you don't like the other guys economic policy then invade him.

As for the duel. I hope Chavez kicks your ***.

Hmm... most of why our relationship with Venezuela is falling apart is not because Chavez is a bad guy (we have great relationships with many other evil nations), but because they have significant oil reserves and are dumping their dollar reserves in exchange for gold and euros. This threatens the US's efforts to continue forcing dollar hegemony through control of the oil market.

Seems silly to want to kill someone because he is doing what he believes is best for his nation, just because it highlights how badly our nation's economy is run. That anger might be better focused against those profiteering from the exploding national debt (at $8.7T last I checked).
