My vote is Rutgers, because they came from the basement to one of the best teams in the nation. GO R-U!

Yeah it was definitely Rutgers and Boise State. I remember watching that Louisville game on ESPN that Thursday night. It was so surreal to see the stadium packed. Hell, it was surreal to see ESPN at Rutgers Stadium! The crowd was electric and the bar went NUTS when they won the game. It's just too bad they lost that Cincy game..they would've been going to the Orange Bowl for sure if not for that one.

I didn't get to watch the Boise State game (I missed out on a doozy apparently) but the fact that they made a BCS game and won it in such fashion against a storied program like Oklahoma was a fairy tale ending.

Couldnt agree with you more Thomas. GO BRUINS! And as for the person who said that Boise State should have been in the national championship, I'll agree with that statement, after I see Boise State play Florida or Ohio States schedule, and still go undefeated. If Boise State thinks they have a good enough football program to be competing for a national title, they need to dump the WAC, become an independent, where they can schedule all their games and schedule some teams that are actually good, and then if they go undefeated they can be in the national championship. The BCS is designed to get the best teams in the national championship, and Boise State was not the best team. Boise State would probably go 9-3 in the SEC.

Being a Rutgers fan, I would like to say Rutgers, but I think they were a point shy (vs WV) to be everyone's pick. As for the guy bashing ND (I am NOT a fan), they do not play in a conference so they do not have those other crappy teams that they have to play (like almost every time). ND played as many if not more Good teams than any other team in the nation. They also played a bunch of losers, but everyone did.

Gotta be the Gators. They had like 6 games against top ranked teams and that is not including the BCS championship. They needed to win them all to even have a chance at the title. Rutgers was a good story too. I would be more impressed with Boise st if they actually played some tougher teams. They are a victim of their own schedule.

Rutgers, because before this year that program was absolutely God awful.

Boise State was a good story, but Boise State had at least been to bowl games before and won their conference. Rutgers was lucky to have a winning season before Schiano. Hell there were people just a few miles away in New York City that didn't even know where Rutgers was at!!

Rutgers I do agree.
But I think Boise State earned some much long awaited respect.

It's a tie between Rutgers and Boise State. They exposed the fraud that is the BCS, the "power schools" and "power conferences".

Boise State, shold have been playing for the national championship.
To The one that said Boise State does not belong because of their schedule, then why is Notre Dame included almost every year, even though they play most of their games against the armed forces
