if u have fair yellowish skin tone then i would recommend you to get foundations tailored for asian skin or asian brands like Kose. As these brands are made to suit and complement fair yellow skin undertones which is a common problem among asians.

Such brands like Kose or SK ii may cost a little higher but investing in a good foundation is a MUST if you wanna have a smooth beautiful finish. But if price is really a concern, try foundations from Missha. Cheap and suitable for your yellow tone.

I have fair yellowish skin, too. I know how difficult it is to find a good foundation for our skin color. Really, I suggest going to a mall make-up counter first to find out exactly what color zone your skin falls under. It gives you an idea of the range of colors your skin really has. It's a free consultation and you're not obligated to buy their products. A good one is Clinique. They use allergy tested products.

As for a good drugstore brand... I like products that won't make me break out very easily. Foundations can do that sometimes. I have combination skin (oily around the T-zone). I've used several different brands of foundation in the past. All have been very good to me. The ones I recommend are: Revlon, L'oreal, and Almay. For my skin tone, I use foundation colors that say "Buff", "Buff Beige", or "Light Beige".

One last suggestion... if you don't want to, or don't have the time, to go to a mall make-up counter for a consultation, Almay has a foundation called "Smart Shade Makeup". There are three different color categories: Light, Light/Medium, or Medium. You choose the color that closely matches your skin tone. When you smooth it onto your skin, the foundation will blend in with your skin color to make a perfect match for you. I haven't personally used this yet, but some of my friends have and they love it.

I hope this helps you find what you're looking for. Good Luck! :-)

L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in Natural Beige, Sand Beige, or Nude Beige. They sell it at Walgreens for $10.00 bucks. Afterwards use Coty AirSpun Face Powder in Translucent (Sold for $7.00) - use a dab of face powder with a powder brush and don't over powder. This will blend with your foundation and give it an even tone. Be sure you use a moisturizer before applying your make-up to avoid dry spots.

I've used these for years and it makes my skin look flawless. People say I look 23 and I am almost 40.

Have fun!!!
