What is the reason behind rooster's eggs??
I know alot of ppl will respond saying they don't, so please don't reply if that's what u think. I know they do, because in my lifetime we had two roosters who laid eggs. the eggs were not regulary laid, they happened a few times. anyway, the size of the egg was too small in comparasion to our other hens (almost 2cm), and it did not contain any yolk, only transparent liquid. I just found out that some research labs were offering a large amount of money for a rooster that could lay eggs, too bad the roosters been dead for more than a decade. Anyway, i could not find a reason behind this phenomena. Is it genetic experiments that caused this rooster to lay eggs, or what??

first of all, it was an egg! it had the white shell, it was just smaller the our hens eggs and we cracked one open, it didn't have the yellow thing. I agree selling it wouldav been a good idea. but the roosters r long dead now! any i guess it was a biological thing where the rooster had a gender crisis.

First if you had roosters you must have also had hens... how do you know that one of them didnt lay the eggs? my parents have chickens as well and they have also had tiny eggs every once in a while, we jokingly call them "chicken farts" it seems that its basically left over material being expelled in the shape of a tiny egg. Anyway, a real male rooster is incapable of laying eggs, however again my parents have had female chickens that looked and acted like roosters, but they were still hens just hermaphrodites in a way... I always called them tranny chickens because they were a little confused.. you know, dressed like roosters but they were really hens... I bet that is what was the case with your egg laying roosters they were probably just tranny hens.

If I had a rooster that I thought was laying eggs I would be a rich person. I am serious, take it to someone that can research it some and capitalize on them!!!!!!

They aren't eggs, although they were created by the same process that creates eggs in hens, so look similar.

Okay, they are incapable, like a man having a baby. What you found was not eggs, otherwise you can believe that women can make sperm.
