What is the reason behind rooster's eggs??
I know alot of ppl will respond saying they don't, so please don't reply if that's what u think. I know they do, because in my lifetime we had two roosters who laid eggs. the eggs were not regulary laid, they happened a few times. anyway, the size of the egg was too small in comparasion to our other hens (almost 2cm), and it did not contain any yolk, only transparent liquid. I just found out that some research labs were offering a large amount of money for a rooster that could lay eggs, too bad the roosters been dead for more than a decade. Anyway, i could not find a reason behind this phenomena. Is it genetic experiments that caused this rooster to lay eggs, or what??

first of all, it was an egg! it had the white shell, it was just smaller the our hens eggs and we cracked one open, it didn't have the yellow thing. I agree selling it wouldav been a good idea. but the roosters r long dead now! any i guess it was a biological thing where the rooster had a gender crisis.
