Oxycontin and oxycodone have the same narcotic in them-oxycodone. Percocet is the brand name for oxycodone. Oxycontin is basically Percocet without Tylenol in it. It's straight oxycodone, which is a semi-synthetic opioid narcotic. They're both man-made opiates, synthetic heroin. Oxycontin is mostly prescribed to chronic, long-term pain sufferers due to the absence of Tylenol, which can destroy your liver. Oxycodone(Percocet) is also given to pain sufferers, sometimes chronic, because it has less Tylenol than vicodin and is considered stronger. Both are highly addictive and should not be consumed with alcohol or taken before/during driving. Are they for you or are you just wonderin'?

Take one of each and then you will find out. Chances are it's just a different intensity.
